Hello everyone!
Sending you a warm welcome from Canada to everyone from Malta, Canada, UK, Denmark, India, Switzerland, USA, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Chile, Spain, Taiwan, Sweden & more joining us for a fun game audio journey in 2021!
For our new students, I hope you're ready to dive into things and learn a bunch about game audio. If you use Twitter or LinkedIn feel free to also join us check out our 'hello'
to everyone online as well:
A small note from me, I've been working on games like NBA Jam 2010, Need for Speed, and Shakedown Hawaii since the mid-90s, and I'm currently working on audio for the game Eco. I've taught
game audio for twenty years and I'm looking forward to helping you learn as much as you'd like about about game audio! If you're interested in more details, you can see my website at VideoGameAudio.com.
We are very fortunate to have EA Senior Audio Artist Viviana Caro join us for this term to help give feedback for the first four assignments in Wwise and FMOD Studio. She's worked on AAA games such as FIFA, Need for Speed and
Plants vs. Zombies:Battle for Neighborville and is enjoying her current role at EA as a Senior Sound Artist. Learn more about her on her website at VivianaCaro.com.
In general we'll be using our class forum but I wanted to try something new and open this first forum post to everyone in the school this year. So, if all new students (and continuing students if you like) can reply to this post with a small 2-4 sentence introduction of your own, that'd be perfect!
